The road.
Train for a half-marathon by journeying down America’s favorite road. Each leg runs one mile longer than the last, gradually working you all the way up to a 13 mile leg. Climb out of Asheville past the French Broad River, up through the spruce to Devil’s Courthouse, over Richland Balsam, the highest point on all 469 miles of the road, then down to the gates of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
